Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center provides incredible tourist experience and a popular cruise ship destination in Juneau Alaska.
The Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center is one of the most visited attractions in Alaska and sees the largest number of visitors of any single visitor center in the National Forest system. Beginning in mid-April through late September the staff at Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center interpret the glacier and glaciated landscape and the wildlife that frequent the area. The visitors center is open seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM throughout the main tourist season.
Cruise ship passengers can book tours of Mendenhall glacier through the tour office on board their ship or via the web when booking their Alaska cruises.
