Alaska Highway Camping

Summer is slowly giving way to the cooler days of fall as we pack up the RV and ready for our annual migration south to warmer and dryer locations. This year we are leaving a few weeks early and planning ion doing a lot of fishing on our way to Yellowstone Lake where we have an appointment with a bunch of hungry lake trout.

Southbound on the Alaska Highway

Our scheduled departure has already been set back a week with lots of rain and even some hail falling here in Alaska. As we prepare for tomorrows departure I have readjusted the itinerary to take us directly to Distruction Bay Yukon and the shores of Kluane Lake.
