Alaska Highway Camping

With the abundance of Alaska Highway campgrounds ready to make your visit a memorible one we thought we would take a moment to talk about the many opportunities for getting back to nature by taking advantage of the Alaska Highway camping available to you along your journey. There are an abundance of Alaska Highway camping sites varying from remotely rugged to pretty posh for being so far to the north but never the less there are camping opportunities available to fill everyone's wishes.

Alaska Highway camping prices are very reasonable and most are below what you are use to paying in your home states. Government campsites are typically running $12.00 to $14.00 per night while the private RV parks vary with services and locations. It's time to note that the RV Parks in outline areas will typically be a bit more expensive when they generate their own electricity but still they tend to be very reasonable and offer a much needed return to somerthing resembling home.

Free camping along the Alaska Highway can also be found but it's typically rough and uneven and can be in some tight areas best suited for small rigs or campers staying in tents.
