If you're looking for a restful place to stay and don't mind limited services and a more wilderness setting, Congdon Creek Provincial Park just might be the perfect place for you. Campsites offer plenty of space to relax with wide areas of vegetation separating between most for a private feeling.

  • Directions – Located along the Alaska Highway at milepost 1071.5, Congdon Creek Provincial Park is well marked when approaching from either the north or the south. The campground is located between the Alaska Highway and Kluane Lake with many of the campsites offering waterfront camping.
  • Description – The roads are unpaved but pretty well maintained, especially by mid june when most campers arrive. This campground is often restricted to RV camping due to the large number of bears that frequent this area. Watch for signs restricting tenting when the bears are common place in and around the campground. Lakeside sites offer a great view while the sites in any of the three loops offer a bit more privacy.
