  • Directions - Tenderfoot Creek Campground is on Turnagain Pass located by driving south on the Seward Highway from Anchorage for 80 miles to Milepost 46, near Summit Lake Lodge. The sign for Tenderfoot Creek Campground is just before you reach the lodge. Turn left onto the gravel access road and follow it to the back side of Summit Lake where you will find the campground.
  • Description - Fully updated just a couple years ago, Tenderfoot Creek Campground has a very clean and ordered appearance with new tables, fire pits, bathrooms and a bridge ovr the creek. Sites also have a bear proof container to store food and other bear attractants. And Yes, there are bears in this area.
